Manorhamilton Historical Society promotes interest in the history, heritage and archaeology of Manorhamilton and the surrounding area.

The town is approaching the 400th anniversary of its founding by Sir Frederick Hamilton. Manorhamilton Castle was built between 1634 and 1636.

The Society commemorates major historical events and their local impact through activities such as lectures, exhibitions and outings.
